Everyone who knows me knows I won't be voting for Donald Trump this year, or any year, even if he was the only person on the ballot. But if he's been right on anything during this campaign, it's how the process is rigged against anyone right of center running for office.
For all you people decrying people who post leaks about this government, they are the ones who are trying their damnedest to preserve our Republic. And in doing so, they're exposing the duplicity of the people who SHOULD have been, and have received Constitutional protections in the past in order to protect that Republic.
The so-called "Free Press".
Let's start off with donations to political candidates. Why are the people who are given Constitutional protections by the very nature of their "profession" allowed to donate money and time to political candidates and causes? If the press is supposed to be unbiased, shouldn't they be barred from participating in the electoral process, save their time in a voting booth every couple of years? And disclosure of any contributions isn't enough. They should be prohibited from doing so, and if they choose to take a political stand one way or the other, they should lose their Constitutional protections. The concept of a "Free Press" was another of the checks and balances designed into this nation's fabric by our Founding Fathers. It was meant to protect those who might expose things our government didn't do properly, but it has turned into an unpaid and unrestricted arm of the Democratic National Committee.
What do former campaign operatives do in between election cycles? Become part of the "press" by signing on to one or more of the cable news outlets, making sure that the message of the former party they used to work for gets out to the public without the party having to pay for that message. Fox News' Megyn Kelly pressed former Democrat operative Donna Brazile on her alleged feeding of a question to Hillary Clinton's campaign before a Town Hall meeting, and all Brazile could do is whine about someone's e-mail system being hacked. She even claimed, with no proof whatsoever, that the e-mail in question had been "doctored". How about this, Donna? Since this is (apparently to you) an ongoing criminal investigation, let the FBI have all your e-mails and give them access to your provider to prove you never sent any heads up questions to Hillary's campaign. Open up your life the way you want certain candidates (not your own supported ones, of course) to open up their lives, and let's see if YOU pass the smell test.
And if the vaunted "Fourth Estate" were actually doing their jobs, we wouldn't need people like James O'Keefe taking undercover videos of Democrat campaign operatives admitting that they rig elections. Who is following up on voting irregularities in Democrat precincts like in Philadelphia where out of THOUSANDS of ballots cast, NOBODY voted for the Republican in the last election, and over 100% of the registered voters in more than one precinct happened to have cast a ballot?
Nothing to see here, folks, move along . . .
A free and UNBIASED press is essential for the health of a Constitutional Republic, and we don't have one right now. If you want to see when the beginning of the end of America began, just look back to when the press stopped being a watchdog and instead became a protector.
Hi! I'm Dave Richard, your host. I hope you enjoy your visit. We'll be talking about current events, politics, the occasional sports (I'm a HUGE New England Patriots fan, so get over it), and some "Get off my lawn!" issues.
